Cervantes to Greenhead Field Day 7th – 8th November 2015
Total fish weighed in : 73 fish : 1 School Shark, 1 Spotted Mackeral, 1 Mulloway, 38 Tailor, 3 Pike, 2 Flathead, and 27 Herring
A great weekend to be fishing, yes the southerly winds were very blowy and there was a bit of weed to pull in, but fish were caught and a great time was had by the members there. Laurie, Joe, Malcolm, Bruce Free and Greg fished left of Hill River car park, Bruce Davies went further down to First reef, Tony and Filomena started around Jurien but moved around as usual, Ian and Donna stayed in the calmer waters of Cevantes. Most members got among the Tailor with some rather big Tailor weighed in by Malcolm and Tony. The incentive species was a Garfish, but no one caught any of them. Tony weighed in 6 species and just over 19 kg of fish to easily win the field day. Well done Tony!
