Total fish weighed in : 26 fish: 17 Tailor, 1 Snook, 1 Flathead and 7 Herring
The weather was very hot but it was very pleasant on the beach. Strong winds made fishing a bit difficult. All four members were located around the Hill River area. On Saturday afternoon we had a show put on for us by school after school of Mullet swimming by and becoming airborne often. Saturday evening, the Tailor came on the bite and everyone was able to land a few. When the wind dropped the fish seemed to go off the bite. Sunday morning was very calm with very few fish caught, with everyone leaving the beach by 10 am. Tony and Greg both caught 3 different species but Tony caught more Tailor, winning the field day. Well done Tony!
